The series begins with observed landscapes and gradually moves away from them through fragmentation, repetition and shifts in colour. Images are divided, displaced and reassembled. The original landscape remains present, but no longer as a stable or complete image. Each work becomes a temporary state between what was observed and what it may become.

Peripheral Pantheon is a painting series imagining fictional deities assembled from fragments of memory, ornament and everyday objects. Rather than illustrating myths, the paintings construct their own symbolic world from familiar forms.
