Statement

My work often begins with ordinary materials or situations that stay with me longer than expected. I am interested in objects that have lost their original purpose but continue to exist, carrying traces of use, time and change.

Rather than treating artworks as fixed forms, I see them as temporary stages within longer processes. Glass can be dismantled and rebuilt. Plants continue growing after an installation is assembled. Paintings gradually move away from the places they began with.

I don't try to stop these changes. Instead, I observe how meaning shifts as materials, environments and living systems interact over time.
